Acid Reflux Causes Coughing
10 1/2 week old with acid reflux...?
My little boy went to the doctor the other day for possible acid reflux...cause he has recently been throwing up his formula and crying and arching his back and coughing. So the doctor recommended putting rice cereal in formula (which i am hestiant about due to he is only 2 and a half months) but i know i have to make the nipple whole bigger..So question is how much bigger does the hole have to be and how would i do that?? Last time i made it too big and he nearly choked..So what is the best way to make the hole?
we used a fork and just used one of the edges on it. My daughter also had to do rice for the acid reflex (and still does) and the rice helped A TON!!! big big big difference. Also we use the Gerber Nuk bottles that have a weird looking top. They are a lot of money but you don't have to put holes in them at all and my daughter loves the weird shape of the nipple.

Also do they have him on any meds?? They put her on zantac that did nothing prilosec worked for her but every baby if different, GOOD LUCK i hope you caught it early! :O)
