Acid Reflux Wedge Baby
My baby's head is starting to flatten on one side, what now?
Here's the deal. I have a 3 mo. old with terrible acid reflux. I can't put him flat on back due to that and have tried the wedge, in which he slides down to edge of crib. So, I have him sleep/nap in his cradle swing which works great, however, he LOVES to sleep with head facing left (since birth). I have tried many times to move his head the opposite direction, but he wakes immediately, then STAYS awake. I have him do tummy time all thru the day and he hates it!! Also, I use those head/body positioners in his car seat and others to help hold his head in position. He still turns to the left. As expected, I am now noticing the back, left side of his head flatter than the other side. Without having to check with physician, I thought there may be something I could do that I haven't already tried?? Any suggestions?
