I have trouble sleeping sometimes because of acid reflex.?

I'm only 12, but sometimes at night, all of a sudden my throat begins to burn. And acid goes up and down my throat, but it never comes out. I told my uncle about my symptoms, and he thinks I have acid reflex. I wiki'd it, and it tells me i have the "silent reflux" which describes my symptoms. Does anyone have any ideas on what i should do?

If you eat any of these foods, have an antacid nearby, like Tums or Rolaids or something of that sort. If you can sleep with two pillows under your head at night, that would be helpful as well, as this will help reduce the acid from going up into your throat.
