Baby Acid Reflux Wedge

How does your baby sleep?

Our baby (4.5 months old) has severe acid reflux and also had pyloric stenosis (food couldn't get through passage in belly and he threw everything up - had to have surgery). Needless to say, his dad and I are panicked parents now so he is upright all the time. In fact he sleeps on a RES-Q wedge (I found it at http://www.pollywogbaby.com) which is awesome, but he needs to be strapped into it. Now that he is a little older and starting to move around, we're wondering if there isn't a better way to let him sleep, while remaining propped up (but still laying back and comfy). He, like all of us probably, sleeps better when he's free to roll around and get comfortable on his own. We're terrified of SIDS and him throwing up in his sleep though.

How do you guys have your babies sleep? What could we be doing better?

My daughter is 2 months and has acid reflux. Honestly she sleeps on her belly. I have an AngelCare motion detector in her crib, which sounds an alarm if for some reason they quit breathing. If i lay her on back or even with her head elevated she won't sleep for more than 15-30 min. So yeah she is a belly sleeper and it does wonders with the acid reflux.
