Clindamycin Heartburn
Antibiotics upsetting my stomach!?
I have 5 days left on clindamycin. When I take it I get really bad heartburn, and later it gives me stomach cramps. I've been drinking water and eating when I take it, but it doesn't help. Any suggestions?
Try eating some yogurt. Antibiotics kill off all the bacteria in your body, both harmful and beneficial. The cultures in the yogurt are supposed to help put the "good bacteria" back into your body. I've had doctors recommend eating yogurt to me when they've prescribed antibiotics.
