Digestive Enzymes Heartburn
Digestive Enzymes Heartburn
Stomach problems for 2 1/2 months. can anyone help? (sorry long)?

Ok, it started 2 1/2 months ago and has been persistant and on going meaning pretty much daily, it started with gas a major bloating, went on and on, then started to get indigestion, then heartburn (only w. certain foods) I was told it could be my gallbladder so I did a flush, I started taking all naturel "bile supporter pills" keep in mind I am a health nut and dont eat meat. Then I got a ultra sound came back negative, blood work looked great. Ok so its not my gallbladder, so I started taking digestive enzymes, several weeks now. Went to another doc he told me he thought it was just acid reflux.... gave me prevacid, anyway started getting bad gas and bloating again !! and how I have pain tightness on my right side, picture the middle between my rib cage go to the right and thats where it hurt right above the right boob. Can anyone tell what they think is causing all this?? btw and I am regular everday @ the same time
I think the prevacid helped the indigestion but the gas back.

I hope this helps. A lot of problems come from how/what we eat and combine our foods together. Let me explain.

It was the first time I cooked dinner for my then-boyfriend. I didn’t know it back then, but my own cure began with a question from this man who would later become my husband(Mike)

Shortly after we met, I made dinner for him and he asked if it would be alright if he didn't eat one of the foods I had prepared. He said it all looked wonderful, but that the combination would give him a stomach ache. I didn't know what he meant, since nothing was fried and no hot spices were used.

It was then that he asked me the question that literally changed my life forever!

Mike asked me, “Have you heard of food combining?”

My immediate answer was "no" I hadn't heard of it. Even though it wasn't anything new, and had been endorsed by many health experts, peak performance experts and celebrities and more - I really had never heard of FOOD COMBINING.

After hearing about how "mis-combining" leads to acidosis, acid-reflux, heartburn and a host of other digestive problems, I had my first "properly combined" meal...

And I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO SYMPTOMS WHATSOEVER!

NO PAIN! NOTHING!

That’s right...

NO cramps
NO bloated stomach
NO excessive gas
NO ‘IBS’
NO acid reflux
NO constipation
NO running to the bathroom
NO horrendous pain

Can you imagine how relieved I felt after all those years? If you have ever suffered any of these symptoms, even mildly, you will understand why I was wild with joy!

Food Enzymes Can Boost an Incomplete Diet and Boost Wellness

It becomes more and more clear with the more we learn about enzymes that the rate at which we age and the quality of our health depends on having an adequate supply and function of enzymes. To protect and maximize our enzyme stores our dietary choices; use of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco; and our level of stress all need to be put under careful supervision.

Basically, our diet and lifestyle choices have been shown to either help our enzyme function or hinder it. But it's not that simple for many people, as enzyme production slows dramatically as the body ages and there is little that we can do to reverse this. The result of this is that nutritional experts recommend that we replenish these missing enzymes with dietary supplements that help our bodies to age in a healthy way.

A lack of enzymes has been shown to compromise the function of vitamins and minerals that are found in the body. Because many micronutrients and macronutrients are actually bound to proteins, they cannot be released unless there is an adequate amount of hydrochloric acid and digestive enzymes present to break them down. This explains why it is much easier for elderly people to be malnourished than those who are younger.

Some of the symptoms of enzyme depletion include abdominal pain, belching, bloating, bowel problems, and fatigue after meals, food allergies, gas, and heartburn. Although these symptoms are very common and are not considered strange or abnormal, they would not occur if the digestive system was operating as it was designed to operate. Enzymatic deficiencies can also be caused by a number of conditions. Among these conditions are celiac disease, cystic fibrosis, hypochlorhydria, pancreatitis, and stress. When people eat foods with no live enzymes, the body is forced to produce its own supply of enzymes. Our enzyme reserves eventually become depleted, causing the body to use the immune system to help digest food. This use of the immune system prohibits it from rebuilding the body and fighting illness.

A lot of food allergies come from the lack of certain enzymes in the diet and joint pain and gout have been found to come from undigested proteins, fats, and minerals. Additionally, yeast and fungal growth can be caused by undigested foods in the bloodstream and can be compounded by the consumption of white flour and sugar. Extreme fatigue is a result of the inability to digest proteins and fats, which results in poor circulation. The above are just a few examples of the effects of enzyme deficiencies.

When enzyme reserves become depleted, large amounts of stress are placed on the body's organs, causing us to experience fatigue, premature aging, and disease. Studies have shown that a good number of people with liver disease, high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis, tuberculosis, and even obesity have low tissue enzyme levels. Additionally, some obese individuals have low lipase levels, while low amylase levels have been found in many patients with liver disease and low blood levels of enzymes have been found in many people with food allergies.

One must understand that undigested food particles can irritate joints and cause a number of unwanted immune responses which result in a variety of diseases. Properly digesting ones food is of upmost importance. Supplementing with a essential enzyme formula can help restore the body to normal. Enzyme formulas are available at your local or internet health food store.
