Stomach pains- acid reflux/heartburn & pregnancy?

Happy New Years!

I'm 22 weeks pregnant and I've been having terrible acid reflux & heartburn for a while now. It's gotten progressively worse and I'm getting a bit concerned. The acid gets so bad that I'm throwing up at night and now I'm getting sharp glass like pains in my stomach (up by my rib cage). I've just started taking Zantac (doctors orders) as I can't take it anymore....but I'm worried. Has anyone dealt with this before? Any advice?

I can't call my OBGYN until the 2nd, and I'm worried about the baby. If the pain is high, it shouldn't be anything to worrry about....right? (babywise)

Thanks!

I have the same thing, i am 35 weeks pregnant and startred getting reflux/heartburn around 20 weeks pregnant, still get it now, last night i was throwing up. It does come and go though, i dont get it every night. I also have the rib pain, which i was told was caused by the reflux. I cant wait for it to go away, its very uncomfortable, so i feel your pain!! Good luck!! Hope it gets better for you soon
