Heartburn Bitter Taste
Heartburn Bitter Taste
Why do I have a constant bitter taste in my mouth?

I haven't taken any antibiotics, I don't smoke, I'm not pregnant, I don't have heartburn and I have impeccable dental hygiene. Why, then, have I had this constant bitter taste in my mouth for the last four days and what can I do about it? Thanks.
Thanks for answering. I don't drink pop at all and I actually do drink a lot of water, at least eight glasses a day. And I floss, brush, Listerine twice a day. After I brush, it only takes about fifteen minutes before the taste is back. I don't have bad breath, but I do have a very small bit of upset stomach.

If you drink a lot of sodas and sugary things, that's why. Drink more water and it'll go away eventually. That doesn't mean you have to give up pop or tea or whatever, just drink enough water to balance it out. Also try brushing your teeth and tongue more often, flossing, that sort of thing.
