Heartburn Clindamycin
my antibiotics are making me vomit?
I have been prescribed clindamycin from my dentist after amoxycillin did not reduce infection of my wisdom tooth.I have just been violently sick after taking them for the second day.I did not take them on an empty stomach and now i feel like I have heartburn.its horrible has anyone any suggestions or answers for this please?thanks.

It sounds to me like you may be allergic! I'm allergic to doxycycline, which is another version of amoxycillin. I ended up getting sick over the weekend, so I just stopped taking the medication until I was able to get ahold of my doctor for a new prescription. I would recommend you do the same thing. You should never be vomiting after taking a prescription! Get well soon, hun.
