Heartburn Difficulty Breathing
Do you think this is GERD?
I've had this chronic stomach problem for, well, as long as I can remember. In the past year, I've had a VERY stressful home-life and it's gotten WAY worse.
So does this sounds like GERD?
- Almost constant 24/7 upset stomach(NOT nausea. Just a feeling like I'm going to throw up deep in my stomach, not lower like nausea)
- Difficulty breathing(Like, feeling like I can't get enough air in my lungs. Like they're not big enough or something)
- Difficult swallowing when drinking in a wierd position(Like from a water fountain)
- No heartburn
I've just started a round of Prilosec, and I'm going to get some ginger and honey and peppermint to help me manage my symptoms.
Please help me figure out what's wrong. I've been to the doctor, and they said I have severe anxiety(Which I do, but I know that's not the problem)
Dr.'S have a hard time treating patients with anxiety(in my opinion) Everytime something it wrong they say "it's anxiety related" bla bla bla. I don't think it sounds like GERD. I had a similar thin with not feeling like I was getting enough air. Found out I had asthma, very mild but an inhaler relieves that. As for the nausea have you been checked for an ulcer? We all know stress and anxiety can exagerate an ulcer big time. Bottom line is if you really feel like it's not anxiety then keep looking for answers because you know your body better then anyone.
