Heartburn Gas Bloating
When you are pregnant, is it okay to take Maalox or some type of heartburn and bloating relief tablet?
my friend is not exactly sure if she is pregnant and she won't be able to know for a few days but she is having gas problems of all kinds and wants to know if it is safe to take acid relief tablets like Maalox to relief the pain. Does anybody know?
Tums or Malox should be just fine. I eat tums like they are going out of style. There are however, certain things that can be harmful in the first trimester as compared to later on in the pregnancy. But I am almost certain Tum's is not one of them. However, she may want to get into the Doctor's asap....just to make sure things are going well. I don't remember having gas so early????
