I had the same thing after I gave birth. When you give birth your hormones go crazy. You have an excess of estrogen and it causes "anxiety" or tightness in the chest/lungs and is slightly different for everyone. Some people have full blown panic attacks and others some slight discomfort. Panic attacks last from 30 seconds to 30 minutes when they are caused from post-preg hormones. Some women find they go away. I went to the emergency room because I thought I was having a heart attack, but the doctor smiled when I told her I had a baby 2 months ago. Said it was normal.
I would recommend you talk to your doctor. You might need Zoloft if its real bad or scarry. But as your hormones normal out you should be fine unless your doc says otherwise.

Some may even take for granted the pains that they feel that are actually related to this disease but then dismiss them as normal and temporary or even totally neglect them. This is very dangerous because GERD is a sickness that should not be underestimated and a complete understanding of it is much needed.
