Heartburn In Children
can you share your experience about behaviour of children with reflux/gerd, especially babies, please help?
My daughter doctor as I thought said that she has reflux, but unfortunately did not prescribe anything, so that means she feel constant pain due to food coming to her throat, as reflux/gerd is like heartburn, also she can not sleep on her own, because when she is lying in the bed the food is coming up I tried to make her bed little higher, but she does not like it. Her behaviour is not possible to console.
It makes me sad, because I want her to sleep good and have good naps, but I can not help.
How are your children behaving with this problem? I think sometimes that food that contain milk is causing that, because she is bringing up the food after yogurt or anything with milk. Any experience on that? How did you help your baby sleep on their own without anything?
By the way what are the food breaks that you do for you baby every 4 hours, my daughter is 9 months old
My son suffered with reflux since he was born & he is now 8month's old & was just put on medication called Zantac. They kept telling me that he had Colic when the whole time it was reflux. I was sooo tired of him crying all day long & waking up sooo much at night that I printed off a list online of all the reflux symptoms, highlited the one's he had & took him to the doctor & gave them the list & that's when they decided he did have reflux so he was suffering the whole time just like your baby. So try more than one doctor if you feel like her current doctor wont listen to you or if you think she need's medicine which it sounds like she does, poor baby 
You could consider giving your child Soy Milk & avoid the yougurt for awhile & see if that makes a difference, maybe she cant have regular milk? Most of the time in order to get my son to sleep I have to give him a bottle & rock him & then lay him in his crib with the bottle still in his mouth once's its almost empty & switch it to a pacifier & then pray he doesnt wake up.lol. Hopefully this helps & I hope she feels better
