Heartburn Late In Pregnancy
Why is my period late and so far pregnancy test negative?
I was put on Errin BCP after having my daughter and while breastfeeding her. I stopped breastfeeding in July and went off Errin in August as I found I was having some side effects. Lately I have been experiencing breast tenderness, some fatigue and occassionally heartburn/ nausea especially in the morning but sometimes at night. I have taken several pregnancy tests and they have been negative.. most recently on Tuesday of this week. I would like to have another child so I would welcome a pregnancy . I keep taking pregnancy tests because I have not had a period since I went on Errin and I took Errin for close to 1 year. My OB didn't seem to think my lack of menstruating was abnormal when I had an exam in August. My Pap/Pelvic exam was normal. Does anyone have any suggestions or similar experiences? What could be causing my symptoms if I am not pregnant? Thank you for taking the time to ready my conerns.
You could still be pregnant. Dont rule that out. The only way to actually tell for sure is to go back to the doctor and have them do a pregnancy test on you. HPT are not 100% accurate. It may also be too early to tell. Being that you were on a BC pill, it might still have some of the hormones in your body. Just a little, and that can mess up the test.
