Heartburn and queesy during early pregnancy!!!!?

Ok everytime I lay down to go to sleep I get heartburn and everytime I wake up I have heartburn and I started feeling like I had to throw up at the worst time of the day! While I was taking my exam. Is there any way I can stop the heartburn and is there any way I can stop feeling like I have to throw up all the time? I'm still early in my weeks I didn't think it would start this soon and yes I know everyone is different so there's no way of telling when you're going to get symptoms. But I started getting my symptoms way before the pregnancy calendars said I would.

Is drinking ginger-ale bad to drink for the queasyness?

That happened to me about 3/4 weeks into my pregnancy, and I'd wake up in the middle of the night nauseus as all heck (and randomly throughout the day, mine was moreso at night, and an hour after waking.) Gingerale and crackers right before going to bed helped me bigtime! I kept a bottle of gingerale, or put out a glass of flat cola next to the bed and sipped that when I woke up feeling icky. That seemed to help. Tums are great too, I suggest have those handy, and if it gets worse in your pregnancy (which I will pray it doesn't!), carry around a travel size tube of them! The first few weeks are really harsh if you get the symptoms early (like I did) try to make sure you gargle your first sip of gingerale before swallowing, I really don't know why but that tends to calm the stomach as you drink it. Also, in my case, icy cold gingerale stung my stomach and made it worse, so that may or may not happen for you, but just in case I warn you!

It's allowing stomach acid to come up your esophagus. Your esophagus is much more delicate than your stomach, which was designed to be able to withstand the harshness of stomach acid. The esophagus is damaged by stomach acid, and when acid comes up into your esophagus you experience the painful, burning sensation of heartburn.

 

 

Excess Acid

Having excess acid in your stomach is one of the main reasons stomach acid will make its way back up past your LES. This is when food is the most likely culprit. In order to cure heartburn, you need to know what may cause your stomach to produce extra acid. Your stomach always produces more acid after you've eaten or had something to drink. However, certain foods will create more acid in your stomach than others. This is either because they themselves are acidic or because it takes more effort to digest them. These include foods or beverages containing citric acid, as well as fatty foods.

 

Movement of Acid

Gravity alone may cause your heartburn. There are a number of things that may cause your stomach acid to come up past your LES. Laying flat while your stomach is trying to digest may cause heartburn. This is why many people experience nighttime heartburn. You may be able to get heartburn relief by avoiding eating anything less than a few hours before you're going to be going to bed or napping. You can also make sure to sleep propped up, with an elevated bed or something as simple as stacking pillows behind you. Also, vigorous exercise can cause your stomach acid to come back up. Be careful about engaging in exercises where you'll be doing a lot of jumping or bouncing if you have problems with heartburn, especially shortly after eating.
