Heartburn Over The Counter Meds
First time heartburn, two days in a row now.?
I have never had a problem with heartburn, no matter what I did or ate.
Yesterday afternoon and into the evening I had it very bad for the first time. It was really painful, and limited my activity. I tried rolaids, and then ENO and neither worked. I drank lots of water and ate some soda crackers. It got better by bed.
Then all this morning I was fine, until late this afternoon when the pain came on again rather suddenly and it has been here for at least 2 hours or so now.
I had soda, and have been doing a lot of strenous activity (just moved, unpacking, carrying stuff, etc,) and it is very humid both days, and I have been sweating like crazy.
Any chance it is just because of those things, or can it just start like this, and be an issue forever now?
Anything I can do or eat now to help the pain? I cannot take any over the counter pain meds due to other meds I am on, and I cant get to the store to buy anything.

Regardless, heartburn can start out of the blue and when I get it, it tends to cluster like yours. I can go months without it and then get it 3 days in a row. I am just starting to get it again and it's been over a year since I last had it. It's crazy stuff.
Stress can exacerbate it and moving is pretty stressful!
