Is this normal .....4 days in on a diet and?

I'm pooping more ? and have heartburn / gas ? I mean i feel great But, I'm on 1200 calories a day which is a big cut in calories for me b/c i was eating closer to 1900 to 2000 and I'm 20 lbs overweight ...
My stomach makes a lot of gargling sounds when i eat and for the past couple of days i have heartburn, is my body just getting use to my new healthy diet of veggies, fruits whole grains and small portions of protein ???????

yes, your body is responding to your changes in eating habits. You should not be so worried. going from a 2000 calorie diet, to a 1200 calorie diet is a little harsh for your body. put simply, your body needs calories to function. eating 1200 is 300 less than what you should be eating a day (which is 1500 at least). your body needs fuel, to burn fat. The key here, is to eat THE RIGHT calories, ....that which comes from high fiber foods which are low in fat. if you eat 4-5 small meals a day, in which you include healthy foods AND incorporate about 30 mins. of Cardiovascular training (running, walking, jogging, biking, etc)...you are guaranteed to lose weight. in conclusion go easy on what KIND of fruits and veggies you eat. this will enable you to identify what is causing it. Not to worry, weight loss means trial and error. the errors, and how we deal with them (by not giving up).....determines our long term success. Good Luck to you in reaching your goal.

**a reminder: weight loss pills and acai berry and God knows what other crazy gimmicks you've heard and blah blah blah won't work. your willpower and commitment overpowers all these 'quick fixes'.
