Heartburn Soda
Can excessive soda consumption cause chronic heartburn?
there is a condition called gatroesophegeal reflux disease (GERD for short) anyways basically means chronic heartburn (and some other stuff) but what can happen is: the sphincter that separtates the stomach from the esophagus becomes weak and can't close as tight as it use to.... caffinene(in a lot of pop) can contribute by weakening this sphincter, so that gastric acid from the stomach seeps through the sphincter and causes your heartburn. This can be a VERY serious problem if left untreated(cancer esophagus cancer) so go to ur doctor and DRINK CAFFIENE FREE SODA!!!
