Heartburn Sudden
Why do I have heartburn from coffee...all-of-a-sudden?
I have drank coffee most of my life and within the last two weeks or so, I have terrible heartburn JUST from coffee---and---I drink it the same---cream and sugar. Anyone have any insight?
Often as we get older, our bodies just become less able to tolerate certain things. It could be that your stomach acids have simply become more reactive as you've grown older. It happens to a lot of people.
If you don't want to give up your coffee (I sure know I wouldn't!), you might want to try to make sure that you never drink it on an empty stomach. Always taking it with some food might help your stomach tolerate it better.
