Heartburn That Lasts All Day
Is it normal for heartburn to last 4 days?
I've never had rising acid before until christmas eve. And my god does it sting! I've used some gavisgon mesdicine, and have avoided alcohol and stuff but it's still rising constantly. After every time i swallow i get that aweful rising burning and it hasn't gone away since. Also about 5 seconds after i burp i get the same thing. I think the acid is coming into my mouth too because i can taste this foul sour stuff when i get the risign burning and it kinda makes me all frothy. Is this normal? Xxx

Sounds like acid reflux to me! There are prescriptions and over the counter drugs that will help. I had it and took medication for about 7 years and then the medications just sort of quit working. Then I had surgery for it and it went away completely. See a doctor as soon as possible because it is really uncomfortable and can do damage over time. Good luck!
