Heartburn Third Trimester

Omega3 tablets safe for pregnancy?
I am now in my third trimester and have read about how important it is for you to have plenty of Omega3 for baby's brain development. When not pregnant, I love fish but with my pregnancy the smell, look and texture of fish makes me nauseous. I can have a tuna sandwich once in a while, but I have to be in the right mood for it. Oh and eggs give me heartburn so they are out of the question.
Anyways, my boyfriend read about the importance of Omega3 and went out and bought Omega3 vitamin tablets. I have been researching them and they seem safe for pregnancy, just wondering if any other pregnant ladies out there are taking them as well or have you heard anything bad about them? I will ask my doctor, I just don't have an appointment until next week.
Thank you!
I am taking them. I take 3 Omega 3 pills a day (made with fish oil) My doctor said it was alright. However I have a REALLY hard time taking them. I find they make me burp and then it tastes like fish which in turn makes me feel sick!!!
I have found that eating a pickle or two before taking the pills helps a bit. I would strongly recommend you take them in the middle of a meal so as not to upset your stomach!
