9 weeks: Feels like I'm choking!!!?
I'm about 9 weeks along. I've already had some morning sickness for a while. However, over the last 2 days, it feels like my throat is closing up. It also feels like there's food stuck in there. When I swallow, it feels like my throat is slow to open back up. Whatever it is, it feels like I'm going to choke. I went to the ER last night. With no swelling, no fever, no pain, no trouble inhaling, they just sent me home! They couldn't tell me anything. I don't know if this is heartburn because I have no pain or burning or burping. In fact, i CANT burp at all. I want to burp, but I can't. It's also hard to throw up when the morning sickness hits. This feeling is unbearable, and I often find myself having to stick my fingers down my throat. It just happens, like a reflex. Please help!! This is my first pregnancy.
Your not alone on this one. This too is my first baby and I'm just learning as I go. I'm currently 15weeks preg. And believe me I've had the exact same feeling when i was 9 weeks preg. The feeling like sometimes you cant breath, the heartburn, and the terrible morning sickness. My advice to you is don't worry, it will go away. I promise. Those are just stages our body goes through , but it does go away by 12-13 weeks. Well it should go away by your 2nd trimester. All you have to do is drink alot of fluids and maybe get some pre-natal pills that help out with your morning sickness. It helped mine out. Just ask your doctor about that.
