Heartburn Where Does It Hurt
30 weeks pregnant & stomach pain, back pain (kidneys) green or black stool?
I'm 30 weeks and I've been having really bad stomach pain lately and A LOT of heartburn. Also my back hurts where my kidneys are. I'm almost positive its my kidneys because I had a kidney infection while being pregnant too and its the same type of pain. The last couple of weeks when I go to the bathroom my stool is either black or green. It's never the normal color.
Anyone know what this is or suggestions on what I should do?
I haven't taken iron pills, just prenatal but they've never done this before. Just these past 2 weeks....

Pregnancy alone causes constipation which can cause your stools to be green or black. Prenatals have a high level of iron in them which is also the cause for this.
As for the kidney infection, I would go see your doctor to get the antibiotics needed if it is indeed a kidney infection.
But if it isn't, it could very well just be the baby gaining in size pushing against your back and maybe even pushing your kidney. I swear some days my daughter was using my organs as squeezy toys.
