Low Acid Heartburn

I have been drinking the same coffees for years and they are very enjoyable to me?
I drink several different kinds from maxwell house to flavored coffees, etc,,, love hazelnut...anyway...my question is this..lately my coffee is starting to give me extreme heartburn and (yes it is the coffee) I was wondering if that coffee that is on the market claiming to be Low Acid tastes good? Have any of you tried it and does it still taste like coffee? I just loved my coffee and do not want to give it up altogether.
Thanks for your answers
I also enjoy toast or another starch with my coffee..so this is not an issue....I am just wondering if people have tried the lower acidic coffees and how they work and taste...thank you
Maxwell House now has a 100% Arabica bean coffee. The Arabica bean is less acidic than most coffee beans and it is very full flavored. I haven't tried the Maxwell House, I have only seen it on TV.
Guatemala grows Arabic coffee and it is very good, or you could try a premium coffee like Kona or Jamaica Blue Mountain.
I live in Kona so I will admit to being a bit prejudice as to which one is best
Low Acid Coffee Made Stomach Friendly
The word coffee may conjure up many different thoughts: soothing, relaxing, stimulating or necessary. For others it may be tied to less appealing words like acidic, painful and "not for me." A recent focus group by JAVAcid.com uncovers that for millions of Americans, drinking coffee is a painful experience involving acid reflux, indigestion and heartburn. Indeed, negative reactions to the acidity often cause coffee lovers to forgo their favorite drink. However, many are making any coffee instantly stomach friendly, by using supplements such as JAVAcid's all-natural, easy-to-use packets.
Other options to the coffee acid problem involve brewing special low acid beans or other exotic methods, just to make drinking a cup of coffee feasible. Our customers prefer the simplicity of our easy-to-use, portable packet. JAVAcid's propriety formula of prebiotic fiber, calcium, vitamin D, and DGL (licorice extract) helps the body defend against acid in the stomach, energizes healthy digestion, reduces stomach acid without altering the flavor of your coffee. Now, millions of people worldwide suffering reflux disease, GERD, heartburn, interstitial cystitis (IC), IBS and body pH imbalance can once again enjoy the pure flavorful taste of their favorite coffee.
For those of you who like a challenge and want to brew your own special low acid coffee, here are some things to consider:
Neutralized Beans - To brew stomach friendly coffee, it is important to spend time picking out the proper low acid beans. In some cases, a chemical neutralizer is added to the beans to decrease the acid. Sometimes chemical neutralizers can effect the flavor and aroma of the coffee.
Low-Acid Beans - Low acid coffee beans are an increasingly popular choice, but many prefer their favorite coffee beans or coffee shop choice on the go and not many coffee shops offer low acid choices. JAVAcid allows you to drink any coffee in comfort, at home or on the go.
Dark Roasts - If low-acid beans are too expensive or unavailable you could try dark roasted coffee. Darker roasts are generally considered a less-acidic drink due to the lengthy roasting process. However, many people prefer a lighter roast so JAVAcid appeals to all coffee tastes.
Cold Brewing - First introduced about 40 years ago, cold brewing coffee techniques may be done at home with regular grounds and creates a coffee that can be 50% less acidic with 25% less caffeine. Generally this requires a custom coffee brewer and again, does not help you with your office coffee or a cup on the go.
Ultimately, flavorful coffee and acid relief is simply found by adding a packet of JAVAcid to your favorite coffee blends, mocha, espresso or latte – anytime, anywhere with no compromises!
