No Heartburn Chili
What do you think of the disclaimers on medicines and pills you see advertised on TV?
Good freakin' Christ. One was for heartburn, and one of the side effects was temporary blindness!!! So, you're out for lunch, have a 3 alarm chili burrito, pop your antacid, and kill 8 people on the interstate because of temporary blindness!
Another one (I can't remember) had 'anal seepage' as a side effect. WOOT?!
They have to list every possible side effect that occurred in their testing, no matter how miniscule, but good freakin' grief, I think I'd stick with the ailment.
Drug companies are usually giants, especially Pfizer.
They have a lot to lose, so they proceed to cover their rears with a lot of legal words...
I work in pharmacy and the little info pamphlets attached to each bottle are mini encyclopedias.
