Heartburn Signs

is heartburn a sign?

Ive been experiencing heartburn lately and my stomach feels like it burns inside.and i havent been eating any spicy foods either.My nipples are also getting to get real sore.
are these signs of pregnancy? I know the nipples being sore are im just not sure about the heartburn. thanks
im going to go and buy a test today.
my period isnt for another week and half.is that too early to do HPT?
