what can i do to help ease pain of gallstones attack?

i've been having pain for over 6 hours now it was my cousins bday yesterday so yeah food. the cake set me off. i took pepto (first thinking it was heartburn, didnt help at all)
last thursday i went with pain, and it seems to be frequent recently.
im getting surgery to remove my gallbladder on june 2nd.
im just keeping warm and bundled sitting upright, it seems to help a little. i dont really feel like going to the ER. (no way to get there and also because i know it'll pass some time but how can i help the pain ease)
