what level of acidity of pop effects heartburn between 1-14 of the ph scale?
i have this science project and im freakin out cuz my teacher tell me nothing so wat level give u heartburn more? im fricking out plz help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Heartburn is caused by acid from your stomach traveling up into your esophagus, and irritating the lining. As you know pH is on a scale from 1-14.
1= most acidic
7= neutral
14= most alkaline or basic
Bacically, the closer a number is to one, the more acidic it will be. Therefore, something with a pH of 2 will give you more heartburn than something with a pH of 5.
